Adjourned meeting of -the Council of the City of Petaluma called
to order by Mayor Farrell.
ROLL_ CALLI,
Present:: Councilmen. Ingerson, McFadden, Miller, Riewerts,
Schluckebier, and Mayor-Farrell.
Absent: Councilman Van Bebber.
Mayor Farrell reminded the Council of the meeting to be held.
.at Hotel Petaluma on August.18th, which meeting was for the purpose of
organizing a North Bay League of Municipalities.
Y, This being an adjourned meeting for the purpose of considering
th bids received ion. the construction of the bascule bridge across
Petaluma River, the matter was brought up by Mayor Farrell and discussed
by the members of 'the City Council.
Representatives of the firm submitting the lowest bid were
present and stat.6d that they could no.t submit a list of their sub -
contractors at the present time, and could not promise to have same
by next Monday evening..
The matter was fully considered and it was moved by Councilman
Miller, seconded by Councilman McFadden, and carried, that it be the
sense of the Council that the bid of Leibert & Trobock, being the lowest
bid, should be accepted on the condition that said firm furnish to the"
Council the names .of all sub-contractors whom they intended to employ
in. the ]Performance of the contract, .and that, further action be deferred
until the regular meeting of the "Council to be held on August 15th, 1932,
ADJOTJRNMENT
There being no further busines on motion regularly made and
carried the meeting adjourned!.
