Regular meeting of the Council of the City of Petaluma called to
:order by Acting Mayor Riewerts.

Absent: Councilman Me-Fadden and Mayor Farrell.
READING OF THE JOURNAL'
The minutes of Ee last, regular meeting of August 15th and the
.adjourned meeting of August 22nd were read and approved as recorded.
REPORTS, OF OFFIGERS:

Garbage Inspector, Auditor, and Treasurer, were read.and filed.
The annual report of the Library Board was read.and filed.
The Clerk reported the filing of Affidavit 6f-Publication of
Ordinance No. 394 G.S.
REPORTS OF STANDIN0,COMMITTEES:
The finance Gommittab submitted its report, whereupon

introduced by Councilman Schluckebier, seconded by Councilman Van
Bebber,., directing the Auditor to draw warrants against the'various City
Funds in payment of claims allowed and approved by the Finance Committee

PETITIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS:

by :Councilman Ingerson- 'providing far the leasing to the Royal Tallow
Soap Company, Inc., a corporation, of certain land belonging to the City
of P was read, approved by the City Attorney and ordered p.osted,.
ADOPTION OF ORDINANCES:
Ordinance No: 39 . C.S. introduced by Gouhcilman McFadden, seconded
by Councilman M1116r°, providing for the Issuance and redemption of bonds
of the City of Petaluma, Sonoma County, State of Calif'orniA, for the amount
of $80,000. for the construction of a bastule bridge, together with the
,proaches thereto, over the Petaluma River, at or hear D Street, in.
the City of 'Retaluma, in accordance with and -as authorized at a special
election held in said City Of Petaluma on the 17th day - of May, 1932,,
came up regularly and was adopted by 5 affirmative votes, 2 absentees.
