The City Engineer submitt6d a written report that the required
repairs as requested by the members of the Street Committee for
Wallace Park had been completed, Which statement, was verified. by the
members of the Street Committee whereupon

in the matter of reinforcing the bulkhead of Thompson Greek, near the
Tq1ckson property.

new D Street bridge. ' Nishki6n, Engineer on: the work, was' present,, and stated that he would, b6'responsible for the inspection of the work,

City Attorney Cromwell reported that the bonds -f or the, D Stre'et

Counoilman - Rijewe,rts'reported that the. road.to Sewer Farm is•in
need of,rep6ir and he was 'authori:zed. take the-matterup with Supervisor
Hart for' assistance from the County.
Chief of 'Police Peters addressed the Council reqiiest-ing, two
additiona plain clothes men-f tha coming 'Wihtere`nfonthb. Chief Peters
stated that one of his men is now using, his personal car f or the, use of
the department at night and h6ll,asked that this d'ar"be "furnished with

- Mayor Farrell r'rell called Attention to the construction of spill-ways
'necessary in the pending. dredging Work and suggested-thtLt the work..
of 'building these spill- ways be by local l6Lb`o direction
of the City Engineer and Street `Superint6ndent.
City Attorney. Cromwell, reported In detail re the status of the
Zoning Ordinance and gave °a full explanation of :`thes;tatute of 1.9

Mayor Farrell reported on =the recent Conv6ntiontaf the League of
California. Muni,cipal-ities, -outlining the steps that had been - ta:k6n.toward
the re- organization of th6 League,..
