Park Commissioner Steitz was present, and addressed the

C'ounci'l stating. thatl the Park C'ommi.ssi,on, had decided to re joet all bids
received on the construction of a tonnI8 court at Wickersham* Park, and
asked Council re- advertise for bids. City Engineer Gonzalez
was directed t6 prepare new specifications f'or the tenn court.
Protest. re Sack 'factory:
Mr. We Olsen addressed thel Co uncil com plaining .of the - operation,
of the sack factory in the neighborhood of 7th and I Streets. The
, Attorney agreed to-personally look into the matter and report to
the Council.
Mayor Farrell -reported on the recent Act of C..ongress to
stimulate - industry by providing `�3, 000., <000. Federal expenditure on a
public works program, s= tating that under this Act the City of Petaluma might receive financial assistance in the building.of'a s age, aystem9
fire house, etc. Mayor. Farrell was author zed to' further investigate
the matter.
