Special meeting of the Council of the City of Petaluma called
to order by Mayor Farrell.
ROLL. CALL.:
Present: Councilmen Deiss, McFadden, Riewerts, Schluckebier,
Van Bebber and Mayor Farrell.,
Absent: C'ouncilman,Woodson.
The Clerk read the call for meeting which stated that the
meeting was for the purpose of, releasing . s.top- notice claims against
Leibert & Trobock for the construction of the :D- Street Bridge,,
and authorizing such payments as may now be legally paid. Consent
to the holding of said meeting was authorized.by the members of the
City Council.
The City .Attorney presented .releases of the following stop-
claims heretofore filed:

also the letter from the Standard Accident Insurance Company, Ybnds-
men for Leibert ,& Trobock, consenting to the payment to - the; general
contractor of an amount equivalent to the amount of the .released
claims and further consenting that when claims which•have not yet
been releas -ed shall be later released, payment might-'be made to the
general contractor. The Attorney advised that with these documents
payment might be legally made to the Contractor, whereupon
Resolution #4221 C.:S.
introduced`by Councilman Riewerts, seconded by Councilman Deis's,
instructing the Auditor to draw a warraxt' against the Bridge
Construction Fund in the sum, of $10,735.78, in favor of Leibert
& Trobock, being, a payment on account of the balance unpaid from
the contract price Lf or the i0onstruction of the D Street Bridge, pur-
suant to Engineer's Certificate heretofore issued, dated August 15,
1933, and further ins rusting the Auditor draw a warrant or
warrants against -said fund for such additional amount of the unpaid
balance of said contract as - become payable to said contractors
upon the release of any stop notices heretofore filed.by mater.ialmen
and not now released-, and -after the approval of such releases by the
City Attorney, adopted by 6 affirma °tive votes, 1 absentee.
