Grounds'Committee, whereupon

for bids for the performance of said work., said bids to be received

A claim for $815.04 filed by Mrs. Annie Mulvaney was referred to
the City Attorney for investigation,
Councilman Van Bebber reported that, the work of building the
bulkhead on Thomp's.on Creek adjacent to� the property of Mr. Christie
was proceeding,, and that Mr. Christie is to pay one-fourth of the cost,
of the improvement.
Prosident of the Board of Fire Commissioners asked'
that the Council take steps to include in its application for federal
aid the proposition for the construction of a fire station at an
approximate - Cost of x$15.,000.00. The matter was referred back to the
Board of Fire Commissioners with the request that it bring in definite
plans and specifications.

Attorney Lounibos appeared in of the protest Previously

Stages, Inc. reiterating what had 'been set foiAh in the petition. Mr.
P. Morphopoulo.s: of the 'American Hotel presented a proposal to pay the
'City of Petaluma . the sum of $500.00 per year Tor the use of all of the
parking space i of the American Hotel a's a depot for the Pacific
Grd Stages, Inc. and Mr i D6Gonter presented a bid f rom the Hotel
Petaluma to pay. the City the sum of $25.. p"r"month for the grant , to
the same oqmp4ny.bf the exclusive Parking privilege on Kentucky Street

bids stating that he believed they were insincere and. out of order.
