Letter from Mr. Lindsay, executive of the Boy'Scouts of America
thanking :the. Mayor and Council and official family for their efforts in
the., recent 'benefit dikve,
,Resolution from the ' Los , Ahgeles County League of Municipalities
regarding liquor control, read and filed. ,
Letter from the !Division of Highways asking that a resolution on
recently sent us, be adopted appr6ving streets for highway purposes
read and filed, and referred to the City Attorney for the,obtaining of
additional information from the Highway Corinission.

'Mr. George Moore;, Jr. one of the property owners in the above
mentioned area addressed the Council,, expressing his,approval the
resolution and commending the'Council for its action.
Re - licens-ing delivery trucks
Mr. Ward ' Paulsen addressed the'Council regarding the licensing of
outside delivery trucks, displaying for licenses paid for his'
wholesale trucks in neighbor'Ing cities. The Mayor appointed a committee
consisting of Councilmen Riewerts,, Woodson and Sdhluckebier to investigate
the,pos-sibilities of obtaining a similar ordinance for Petaluma.
Mayor Farrell reviewed what had be'en under the C.W.A,proAe.ct.

On this subject it was' suggested that the west end 'of Bassett Street
be graded and made passable which suggestion met 'with the approval
of the Council.

The City Attorney was directed to Prepare at once the new
zoning ordinance®
' A representative of the Pacific Greyhound Stages,.Inc. was
present and addreased the Council statin�g.that so far no puitab
location,had b een found fora depot. The ClOrk wasAnstructed.to
notify 'the, head .office of the comp any by ragist-ere-A letter of the
recent action of the City Council.
