ROLL C AL L:: Present: Councilmen Deiss, Gervasoni, Jones, Woodson, and Mayor McFadden. Absent: Councilmen McNear, and Pen.ry. The Clerk read the call for meeting which stated that the meeting. was f "or the purpose of adopting a resolution authorizing the Mayor to sign pro,ject,s for work under the SERA program. The _ Clerk also read. the affidavit of mailing attache.d to said. call.. Mayor McFadden outlined the projects that are being submitted to the Director at this time, and which he has been. requested to sign.'" He explained: that it is anticipated that. work will be started immediately on some of these projects and that this meeting was called In order that th ,, ere might be .no delay in the matter. After considerable discussion of the proposed projects, the following resolutions were adopted by 5 affirmative votes, 2 absentees: Resolution #4308 C.S. introduced by Councilman Woodsan,:seconded by Councilman Jones. BE,1T RESOLVED that the City of Petaluma cause a well to be drilled and casing'placed therein at .Kenilworth Park, the labor to be furnished by the State Emergency Relief Administration,, according to the' plan' referred to in Resollunion 4`301 C.S. adopted June 10, 1934. Res #4309 C.S. introduced by Councilman Gervasona, seconded by Councilman Dei.ss. BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Petaluma cause . a. well to be drilled and casing placed therein at McNear Park, the labor to be furnished by the State Emergency Relief Administration, according to the plan referred to in Resolution #4301 'C . S. adopted June 18:, 1934.. Resolution #4310 C.S. introduced by Councilman De iss, seconded by Councilman Gervasoni. BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Petaluma cause Oak Hill Park to be cleaned up and certain trees and brush- :cleared away as determined by the Park Commission, the labor to be furnished by the State Emergency Rel'ef,Administration, according to the plan referred to in- Resolution #4301 C.S. adopted June 18, 19:34. Mayor authorized to sign submi ssions to State Director: , Resolution #4311 C.S. introduced by Councilman Jones, seconded- by Councilman Woodson; BE,I,T RESOLVED that in order to expedite the handling of State Emergency Relief Administration projects in this city for submission to the State Director, the Mayor be, and he is hereby given authority to sign all such submissions.
