This being the time set by law f or . the canvass 'of the returns of the
Special Municipal 'Ele'ction held on August 28t-h.,, the Clerk reported that
all of the returns and rec-ord.s were in and the Gouncil thereupon proceeded
to canvass the returns: of said Special Municipal Election, with the

"Shall the City of - Fietaluma incur a bonded debt of Three
Hiihdred and Tw.e,nt Thous and Dollars ($3,25 for
the purpose of acquiring, constructing, and completing a
sewer and sewage disposal system, including pipes, - disposal

that there was a total of 2979 votes east; that-of said total votes
therp, were 1144 votes a!gainst the proposition of incurring said bonded

that the proposition has failed to receive 'the, votes of two-thirds. of all
, of the voters voting on said proposition at said Special Municipal Election

MA7or McFadden reported, that, Mr. J. H. Gvvinn had donated $100
to the ,Gity:Treasury to help defray the 'expense of the new sprink-ling
system recently installed in Hill Rla-za Park.'
The matt,er of money due the Milk Fund by milk d6alers wa-s referred.t;o
the City -Attorney.
Linda Vista- Impv:
Councilman Deisq brought up the need of street work in Linda Vista
Subdivision and it was suggested the perhaps :the work might be d one as
an SERA Projedt provided the property owners agree to pay the cost of
materials.

Town Clock:
A lengthy discussinn.was had regarding the bids recently received
on the removal of the 'town clock., theree being a differeme of
opinion as to whether to re-adVertise for bids or to accept: the
next, lowest bid,
the. bid of Sffiith having` been declared
illegALl by the City Attorney..-- It was suggested that a bond
f or faithful performance be - required of the - aucce,8 , sftl , bidder.
The matter was referred to the Cit- Attorney for further
consideration.
.The Valley Sower matter wa6 referred to the
City Engineer, Street Superintendent and Street Commit-tee.
