The.Council were unanimous regarding the speed violations of Taxi Cabs and automobiles in general, and instructed the Chief of Police to issue a last warning to persistent violators. The Coninental Taxi operators having in the past been flagrant violators, it was decided that unless they immediately comply with the Speed laws that their license be revoked. Legal expenses in regard to - Douglas street condemnation proceedings were disposed of by the following Resolution. 'r-2SOLUT-ION NO. 10&9. Introduced by Gossage, seconded by MIcCargar. The matter was taken under advisement. The matter of putting a wooden floor in the Fire Station was referred t the Building.andGrounds Committee with power to act. E'ury appeared before the Council -representing the 'etaluma Choral Society, asking the City to donate the sum of 21`6300.00 for the up -keep of same. 1 to be taken up'in Caucus at a later date. The matter of the improvement of Webster street was b "rough,• -. up by property owners on said street. • It was the.sense of the Council that same be done as soon as possible, it'being necessary to attend to other matters before the improvements asked for could be made.
