YL BUSINESS.
The Blayor stated that members of the Patriarch Ylilitant
band
/had held,.a.consultation with the Council reg4rding donation for concerts
and it was the sence of the 'Council that no donation.6,ould be allowed
for.the coming season-
Superint,endeAt of Streets Shaver advised -the.Council that the
recent storm had caused extensive damage to the mouth of'the "B" street
culvert, and immediate repairs were necessary.
The matter of the above repairS was left to the Supt. of Streets.
A delegation from the Carpenters Union asking that Union
carpenters-be used on City work, were advised that same would be done
whenever such mechanics were needed- --------
F. N. Smith of 7 street appeared before. -the Council
urging the improvement of said street.
The Mayor advised him that storm water , and othor 'conditions
necessary to starting this - work were now being looked into ' I 'und.'. no
time would be'lost in improving said street.
on motion of Councilman .Alen, the City Attorney `Wa instructed
to draft an,Ordinance making it a misdemeanor to in any way -damage the
. "Iron Policemen", also to the stopping of vehicles within
twenty five feet of the'street corners..
On motion duly made the Council adjourned.
