The City Clerk called the meeting to order and in the absence of
President Hoxwe.lre and Vice President Gossage, Councilmen Young was
on,motion dalydiade and seaonded ch6sen as Chair-men and presided.

The report of the Finance Committee was read and sallitj re-
commanded for payment by the following resolution;
RESOLUTION NO. 1127 C.S.
Introduced by Young, seconded by Torr.
Adopting the report of the Finance Committees and instructing
the,Auditor to draw warrants in payment of said claims.

Council-men McCa-rgar asked for and was g ranted further time
to report on plans and estimates for labatoties,.
INTODUGTION OF OiMINANCE.S.
The following Ordinances were introduced and read as follows:
Ordinance 151 e'stabl1shing the grade of Payran Street, 152 chang-
ing the grade of Ellis Strebt, 153 ammenaing Ordinance 3a fixing
the licence of Auctio.neers of horses, 'geeondillhand vehicles and
harness. The same was referred to the City Attorney for approval.
NEW BUSINESS
City Engineer p specifications for the construction
of new sewers. The same was adoped by the following Resolution.

the River as adopted for dredging improvements. After some discuss-
ion Mr. McCargar was delegated c.ommitte of one to visit the work
and. rep.ort.
Protest �prelsented on behalf of .property owners against the
change of grade of Pryan Street .and Alao the Improvement of same.
Also a protest from Property owners on Ellis Street. Protesting

against..ahe. change -of- grade, and the improvement of said Street.
Protest - against the Street Work. was laid over until Iday
lCth the next regular meeting.
On noting duly made the Council adjourned.
