REPORT OF OFFICER'S. .The.fo1lowing report of officers were read received and placed on. file: Report of Treasurer for month of September. n n Auditor City Engineer reported that he had aseortained that tha alley run- ning from Bassett to Douglas is now enclosed in the: John Lawler property. The Superintendent of Streets was directed to notiffy Lawler to remove all-obstruction in said alley. RE.PQRT OF STANDI l "a CQIKIIITTEES . Healy obi behalf of the Catholic Ladies Aid.S'oc:iety asked the Council for a donation of $10.00:a month to help aid them in charity work.. Same was.granted as per following resolution. RE'S0`LU' .1011 No. 2024. Introduced by Torr, , Seconded , by Young. Granting the `Ladies Aid - Society the sum of $10.00 per .month for the use in charitable work subject to further order of the Councile Adopted by 7 affirmative vote.se NEW BUSlIhESS . Mt. City Engineer presented. plans and specification for sewer on Ellis and Madison Street. Filed. Councilman Torr brought up the matter of certain work required upon Thompson Creek and also the matter`of' more :hitch rails. The matter was taken under advisemerit and the Council decided to visit points mentioned on Tuesday next at one o °cloc.k. Engineer was direced to.prepare plans and specifications for.the improvement of Martha street from Kentucy to Maine RREESOhU' TC�V 4o. 2025. Resolution of Intention". Re solved that it is the intention of the "City Council of the City of Petaluma to order the following to be done in said City to -wit; That Ellis`Street be closed.up in part and that portion of Ellis Street hereinafter particularly described be closed, vacated and abandoned.
