The Finance Committee reported bill approved to the amount of §3924.86 and the following resolution was passed; Resolution No. 2196 C. S. BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Auditor be and he.-is hereby directed to draw 192 warients.in payment of'-the several claims approved by the Finance Committee Adopted by 5 affirmative votes, 2 absent. Chairman McCargar of the Building and Grounds Committee reported the 1 improvements in the office of.the Chief of Police Completed. Counciman of the Street Committee reported progress on the Prospect St. improvements. .NEW Business. i 'In the matter of application of D-.WX. The following resolution introduced by Couiioilu�aa Healey seconded by Uouncilman Stradling was passed; Resolution Na. 2196. C. S. R IM RESMIMM TEXT. VMEREAS the bonds of the various City Officers who were elected to take office on the lst. day of July,`1917, and those appointed subsequently thereto have note been approved or recorded; BE IT RESOLVED-THAT the bonds of J. T. Studdert in the sum of $20000.00 as tax and license collector and,$5000.00 as assessor of Mead 0. Torr for $1000.60 as police judge, of A. A. Fiorwege for 02000. as City engineer; of Marcus -Flohr for $30,00. as chief, of police,of G.P. Hall for '$1000. as city attorney, of H ?S. Adams for $100.0. as chief of . the fire department, and of Lyman Green for $2000. as city auditor and 01000. as city clerk be and hereby approved, and the city clerk is here. - by directed to have all of said bonds recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Sonoma County. Adopted by 5 affirmative votes, 2 absent. The following resolution offered by Councilman Allen, seconded by Councilman McCargar, Resolution No. 2197 C. S. BE. IT - RESOLVED THAT the salary of the secretary of the Library Trus-' tees is hereby fixed at gp60. per year, payable monthly in the sum of $5.00 per month. Adopted by 5 affirmative votes, 2 absent. Adopted by 5 affirmative 2 absent. The following resolution was introduced by Councilman M *cCargar, seeonded by Councilman Stradling, t.o -wit; Resolution :No. 2199 C. S. IVHEREAS the city treasurer -has paid the sum of $300. interpst past d1e -on Washington Street Bonds without the_ formal order of this Coun- cil and it is necessary to re - emburse him therefor, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the auditor is hereby directed to draw a war- re'nt against the' Washington Street Bond Fund in favor of the City Treasurer. F. H. Myers for the sum of $300000 in payment of said in- teres't on said Washington Street bonds• Adopted by 5 affirmative votes, 2 absent. The City Engineer stated to the Counc that Dr. J. T. O'Brien desired the City to place.asphA flooring on hid building on upper.. ` Pdai.n as it had the necessary equipment to do the same and the following resolution introduced by Councilman Healey, seconded by Councilman Stradling was passed, to.-'wit Re solution iii -o . 2200 C . S. BE IT RESOLVED THAT the'City Engineer is directed to place asphalt flooring In the building on Main.'St. about 6060'sq.' feet for Dr. J.T. O'Brien for cost price and 16% added for use of equipment. Adopted by 5 affirmative votes, 2 absent. ADJOURNMENT.
