OF OFFICERS: The City clerk reported the filing of affidavit of publication 0 of No. 180 C. S. The Library Trustees filed their annual report which was read and filed. REPORTS OF STANDING COMMITTEES: The * Finahce Comblittee rendered its report on accounts against ik the. City-and offered-the-following re Resolution No. 2314 C. The Building-',and Grounds Committee recomended the�towei.oi city Hall lot and extension of the Corporation building. INTRODUCED BY- COUNC'I.UVUJ IVHImE, "cofided. by Councilman Hopkins, "BS,IT RESOLVED THAT the proposition of the several banks of the City of Petaluma concerning the purchase of the Third and Main street bonds be and the same is hereby accepted and the Mayor is hereby directed to complete and consummate the same. Adppted by 7 Affirmative votes, NOES none. Mr. Mohr Sdckg Cheif of Police asked authority to employ additional policeman while -the.Hegular officers were taking vacations, Granted. The City Clerk was instructed to write the Cal. Corrugated Cul- vert Co. for price on signs to place'on streets under new auto law. Mr. Gwinn addressed the Council in regard to leaving rubbish on .Martha street. There being no further bus iness on mot'ion•xegularly made the Council adjourned.
