'ROLL CALL: Councilmen Present, Hopkins., ldcCargar, Sales, Stradling, White and .IVtayor Young Absent Councilman Allen. -s', Reports of Committees; Councilman Hopkins of the,;Building & Ground Committee reported kk that the, committee had re naEfted, Mr. Jones to prepare plans and specif- I i.cations. for extension of the Corporation building. Councilman Stradling of the Committee on electroliers for Kentucky Street reported that the committee had prepared plans and specifications for the same. INTRODUCTION OF ORDINANCES Ordinance No. 184.Charter series , was x introduced and read and refered to the City attorney, said ordinance amends Sections 4 and '6 of ordinance No.,180 Charter Series by :chagging the denomination of bonds for slain and Third st. improve- ment. NEW BUSINESS,; RSpresentatives of' the Public Utility Companies were present and cofetted.with the Council in reference to change of polls etc. on Main St. Chd &f Adams of the Fire dept. addressed the Bouncil in reference to xe larger water mains on Main street and the YuTayor appointed the following committee to inve's.tigate the same, to-wit Chief Adams of the Fire Dept. and the Street Committee. Specifications for Electroliers. Re solution No 2323 C . S. Introduced by Councilman McCargar seconded by Councilman Stradling, adopting plans and specifications for electroliers on 4 entucky Street and directing the Clerk to advertise for bids was .j%deptdgby the follow- ing vote; Affirmative 5 votes,:Eegative l vote, Absent 1 . Noes none, Absent 1. Resolution No. 2325 C. S. Introduced by Councilman Stradling seconded by Counc >ilman Hopkins directing the City Auditor to draw a warrent in favor'IV. C. Hove for services inik drawing plans and specifications for 4th 6 t. bridge.was adopted'by 6 affirmative votes, noes none, absent 1.
