ROLL CALL Councilmen present, Allen, Hopkins, McCargar, Sales, S'tradling, White and Mayor Young.. READING OF .JOURNAL The minutes of the last Regular Ideeting held on the.2nd day of September, 1919, and of'the postponed regular meeting held.on the 8th day of September, 1919, were read and approved as recorded. REPORTS OF STANDING C OLMI T TEES : The Street Committee reported that they had inve :stigated the sidewalks on Western Av: recommended that they °be not fixed at this time unless requested by the property, owners,,- except that the sidear walk in front 'of one lot be leveled'. ADOP'T,TON OF ORDINANCE,S.: ORDINANCE Noo 184 U! -S :, came up for final adoption and was refused passage by the following vote,to -wit; Affirmative, None, Negative 7 votes. NEW BUSINESS It•was moved , and - carried that-the-question of numbering houses on Baker St. be- left to the City engineer. ite-signation of City Attorney. S. 1`11hereas the Commission appointed in,the.matter of the opening, ex- tending and widening of Douglas Street has submitted its report show ing.that it has performed and completed its duties. BE I'T THEREFORE RESOLVED that the said report be and it is hereby accepted and that the said Commission and the Bondsmen: of said Com= mission be and they are hereby released from any and all obligations, and the said Commission.is hereby discharged from further duty.
