REP:QHTS OF CITY OFFICERS. The City C'le'rk repoirted the filing,of affidavit of publication of Ordinance No.181 C. S. and of certificate of posting of Ordinance No 188 G. S. The Mayor reported that he had appointed Laurd"tzen care .taker, of the City Clock. REPORTS OF S 0012 ,S'': The, Finance Committee. rendered its report allowing various accounts against the City and offered the following-resolution, introduced by Councilman 1MCCargar seconded by Councilman Stradling, towit; Resolution No.2367 C. S. $E IT RESOLVED THAT the Auditor be and he is hereby directed to draw warrents' against the various funds in payment of the several claims as approved and allowed by the Finance Committee. Adopted by 7 affirmative votes. Noes none. REPORTS -OF SELECT .001,121ITTEES': Councilman Hopkins reported on hock. Crusher, and on Iviotion regularly made and carried the matter of employing additional help was left to Councilman Hopkins. PETITION'S AND COI'&VIU1 Letter received and read from State Compensation and accident Ins. Fund stating that two weeks pay amounting to �p33.34 had been sent to Mr. Chas. Blume for injury.at the quarry. ADO`?TION OF ORDINANCES; Ordinance No. 187 C.S. "An Ordinance amending- ordinance-n46, ' Series, entitled, "An a act. regulating the use of ,stree.ts and sidewalks," approved the 18th day of December, 1911, by V1. H. Zartman, Mayor of the City of Petaluma." came up for final passage and was adopted by the following vote,to -wit; 11 AYES Councilmen Allen, Hopkins, McCargar, Stradling, Sales, White and Mayor Young. Young be authorkxm4 ize. to sign and execute an extention of the lease for the City Quarry form Conway Brothers for further term of 5 years on like terms as the present lease resolution No. 2368 C. S. Introduced by Sales, seconded by Councilman I White directing the Mayor and auditor to draw a warrent in favor of H.. J.,19yers for rebate o on liquor license .was Adopted by 6 affirmative votes, Noes 1. It moved and carried that H. V1. Wood and A. F. Neunfeldt be granted permission to construct a sewer under the sidewalk from the Wood property ±x on 6th street °to G street. It . a,as also moved and. carried that the resignation of E. I.
