ROLL CALL: Councilmen present Councilmen Allen, Hopkins, 1VIcCargar, Sales, Strad- ling, White' and hAayor Young. THe City Clerk reported that he had published notice to contracts for bids for removing basalt blocks - etc. as required by law. It wasm moved and carried that the Engineers Howe & Deters be given authority to store cement. Resolution No. 2428 C. S. Introduced by Councilman IvIcCargar seconded by Councilman Stradling authorizing the Auditor to draw a duplicate warrent in place o °f'warrent NO. 979 for . 414.75 payable to' the Golden Eagle Milling Co,. as said xazym has been lost. was Adopted by 7 Affirmative votes floes none. Dr. Ivancovich protested against'the bill against him for work done by the street department an the matter was refered to the Finance Com- mittee and. said committee recomended that no action -be taken, motion regularly made and carried the report of the,cormittee was adopted. Moved and carried that the question of Sewer on Main. and Cherry FL±x streets be left with Street committee with power to act. Resolution No. 242.9 C. S . Adopting plans and specifications for sewer on 3rd street from man- ,. hole in middle of G street 132 feet easterly was Adopted by 7 Affirmative votes, Noes none. Resolution tto.. 5430 C. S. Introduced by Councilman White seconded by Councilman Stradling adjourn- ing the meeting until Tuesday May, 18th, 1980 at 7 - 30 o'clack P. M. and inst- ructing tine directors of the Petaluma Power and Water Co. to be pre ent at such adjourned meeting to discuss and adopt ways and means for remedying the water shortage was, Adopted by 7 Affirmative votes, Noes none. BE IT RESOLTED THAT a committee of three members of the Council be ap- pointed by the 1dayor to invezt gate the possible and best method of devel- aping a water system for the future adequate needs of the City, and to make their report' together with their recommendation to the Council.
