Absent Councilmen Allen, Sales and Hopkins. RPPORTS OF OFFICERS; The City Clerk reported publication of Notice for bidders for City Advertising. Letter read from Chairman Barnett of the Sonoma County Probation Committee read and filed. INTRODUCTION OF ORDINANCES: Ordinance No. 193 C. S. was introduced by Councilman H. S. McCargar an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 4 C. S. filed refered to.the City Attorney for approval, approved by the City attorney and orddred published in the Petaluma Courier. NE1 BUSINESS: Resolution No. 2440 C. S. Introduced by Councilman White seconded by Councilman Stradling, creating the offices of Deputy City Clerk and Auditor, and Deputy City Tax and License 0ollector and City Assessor and fixing the salary of said officers was on roll call by the ,following.vote, to -wit; AYES; .Councilmen McCargar, Stradling, White, and Mayor Young. CITY ADVERTISING. . As per advertisement by the City Clerk two bids were received for the City advertising for the fiscal year ending June 30th, 192V to -wit, The Petaluma Argus and Homer.W. VTood and after opening saidbids and comparison of the same Councilman Stradling Introduced the following Mtx resolution seconded by Councilman McCargar, to -wit; RESOLUTION NO. 2444 C'. S . awarding the Contract for said printing to the Petaluma Argus it be- ing the lowest and best bidder was Adopted by 4 Affirmative votes, Noes none, absent 3.
