Regular meeting of the Council of the City of Petaluma, called to
order by !Mayor Young..

-1920 were read and approved as recorded.
REPORTS OF CITY OFFICERS:
The City clerk reported that he had served notice on The Water Co.to
eease interfering with thud - Street contractor on IJain & 3rd Sts. as
directed by the Uouncil'..
City Attorney rendered a written opinion as to the lave in changing to
City manager plan. report and filed.
REPORTS OF STANDIING COI181ITTEES :
The Finance Committee rendered its report of allowance of bill against
the Uit.y and Councilman ldcCargar grr introduced and Councilman Stradling
seconded the following resolution, to - wit;

,BE IT i ESOLT111D THAT the the Auditor be and he is hereby directed to
draw warrents against the several funds in the Treasury in payment of the
various accounts against the City approved and allowed by'the Finance
Committee.
Adopted by 6 Affirmative votes, Noes none, Absent 1.

A letter and copy of report from- Pet. Power &; 'ater "o. was received fx
from the H. R. Commissi- on and filed
A written request from the Fire Commission for amount necessary for
the fiscal year, also the same from the Library trustees and were taken
under advisement.
NIN BUSINESS
fir. Dr.esbach addressed the Council in reference to right of way for
dredging purposes on the river and the following. resolution was intro-
duced by Councilman Sales seconded by .Councilman clhite to -wit;

BE IT RESOLTED THAT the .Mayor be,and he is hereby appointed a commit-
tee o.f one with power to act in all matters pertaining to the River 13ro-
jeCt and the improvement , th:ereof .
Adopted by 6 Affirmative votes, 1 absent.
The following resolution was introduced by Councilman White seconded

by Councilman Hopkins to- wit;
Resolution No. 241 0. S.
Appropriating the sum of $100. to the Petaluma Chamber s5f Commerce
to assist in celebrating Egg Day, was
Idopted by 6 Affirmative votes, noes, none Absent 1.
It was moved and carried that Sc°hluneger Bros.be and are hereby
granted an extension of 60 days in which to complete the granite curb
ing contract.
There being no further 'business on motion regularly made and =ri
carried the meeting adjourned.
