Petaluma., October 4th, 1920.
Regular I,Zeeting of the Council of the City of Petaluma, called to x zkft
order by Mayor Young.
ROLL CALL;
Councilmen present Alen,'Hopkins,.McCargar, Sales, Stradling, white
and Mayor Young.
REI;ID ING OF T JOURNAL :
The minutes of the last regular meating held on the 20th day of
September, 1920, were read and approved as recorded.
The monthly reports of the Police Judge, Viharfinger, round- master,
Treasurer and Financial Statement of the auditor were read and filed.
The City Clerk rejam3t#e&x and Auditor reported that he had tra,nsfered
the sum of 1$1891.27 from the General Fund to the hock Crusher Fund the
value of mock used by the City to Sept o' 1, 1920.
Also that he had received amit filed, and pos as required by law an
application for a deed from George Vegensen and 1 May Vogensen.

The Finance Committee :rendered.it.s report of "bills approved and al-
sowed against the City the following resolution introduced by Council-
man Allen seconded by Councilman Stradling,. to -wit;

BL. IT RESOLVED THAT the Auditor be and he is hereby directed to draw
warrents against the various Funds in-the tresury in payment of the various
accounts approved and allowed by the Finance Committee.

Councilman Sales rendered a report on behalf of the Street Committ
in reference to tg lights with recommendations.

a very.full report of the proceedings of the Committee, and asked the Rokxx±
Council to . ratify its proceedings.

A written request from Contractor W. A. Dontanville requesting an ex- .�.
tertion of 60 days time in, which.. to complete Main & 3rd street contract
was read and filed.
Letter from Students committee of the U.ofC,. was read and filed.

for 60 -days extension of time.to complete Iaain & 3rd street Contract be
granted.

It was moved and seconded that the Council endorse and ratify the, ction of the Permanent water Committee in its recommendation to em-
ploy engineers to investigate and survey for a permanent water supply:

Board of Health of the City'of Petaluma be and the same is hereby deem-
lared vacant.

BE'C,TT RESOLVED THAT. vVhereas there is a vacancy in the Board of Health
of the City of Petaluma by reason of the vacancy of the office of
James Anderson,
Therefore, be it resolved that Dr. A.G.Lumsclen be and he is hereby-
appointed a member of the Board of Health for the unexpired term of
said James Anderson.

of said A.A.Anderson.
