Councilmen present Allen, McCargar, Sales, Stradling,. White, and
Mayor Young.

The minutes of - the last regular meeting held on the 7th day of Febr-
ruary,. 192 , and of the X XXK& Special meeting held on the 11th day
of February, 1921 were read and approved as recorded..
REPORTS OF CITY OFFICERS:
The. City Auditor . ,reported that he had apportioned the stun Of
41286.,15 from the Unapportioned fund to the various funds1entitled
thereto.

The..Finance Committee reported its allowance of various bills m3 ;
against the City and offered the.following resolution introduced by
Councilman Stradling seconded by Councilman Allen to—wit;
Re solution No. 2500 C. S.
BE IT IESDLVED THAT the Auditor is hereby directed to dray warrents
against the various funds in payment of the several claims allowed and
approved by the Finance Committee.
Adopted by 6 Affirmative votes 1 absent.
REPORTS OF SE s'C D CO1 , :
Councilman McCargar reported that he had taken down the Fire Bell
on Washington street and stored the same in the Corporation Yard.
Presentation of Petitions and Communications;
Communications ;received 'from The Amer ±bann 'Legion, ti'Iomanft Club and
Central Labo&, Council protesting against erecting hitching rails at
JmRx lower Main -Street. Filed.

After hearing remarks from various citizens for and protesting against
hitching rails on lower Main street it was moved. anff carried that the
request of Business IJIen of Lower idain street therefor be denied.and
that.the matter of more hitching rails be left to the Street Committee
with power :to: act.
It was moved and carried 'that *Councilmen Stradling and Me- Cargar be
and are appointed a committee to attend to matter of piling along -the
C:ity's,prope,rty on the water front with power to act.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned;
