order by Mayor Young.

The Minutes of the last Recrular Meeting were read and approved as
recorded.

The Finance Committee rendered its report of its allowance of numer-
ous bills against the City and Councilman Stradling introduced and Coun-
cilman Hoi)kins seconded the following Resolution to -wit;
Resolution No. 25:12 C. S.
"BB IT R THAT the Auditor be and he is hereby directed to draw
warrent.s against the various funds in payment of the several claims against
the City as approved and allowed by :the Finance Committee.
Adopted by 6 Affirmative votes, Noes none, Absent 1.

It was.moved seconded and cArriea that the report of the Committee
on hitching rails be adopted and the 6tree.t committee given power to
act in accordance therewith.
It was moved and carried that Councilman Allen be appointed a com-
mittee of l to obtain estimates of cost of painting the fountain and
statue near the corner of Vlashington and Main Streets.

that a vote of thanks be en -tered in favor of the Fire Commissioners for
their donation in replacing the fire bell on the City Hall.
It was regularly moved and carried that the Building and•Grounds
Committee be given full pourer to act in the removal.of old fire tower
back of the City Hall.
