ROLL_ CALL: Councilmen present Allen, Hopkins, IvlcCargar', Sales, Vv'hite and 'Ma —yor Young. Absent, Councilman Batchelor. The City Clerk read the Mayors call for a Special Meeting with the certificate of mailing the same by the Clerk -to each Councilman on December 24th, 1921. The call being for consideration and action in reference to the license ordinances of the City o•f Petaluma and.,tu Ordinance Ho. 198 C. S. DTI : _i, aDUC .TI:ON OIL ORDIN�I LACES ; The ol'lowing. ordinance was introduced by Councilmen ',ihite , to-wit; Ordinance i�o . 208 C. S. "_4n ordinance regulating the sale, service and dispensing of soft drinks for beverage purposes in less quantities than one gallon in any establishment or place of business; providing a method for the' issuance of a.license and permit for such establishment and business and pre- scribing the benalties for a violation thereof." The following ordinance was introduced by Councilman .Alen to-wit: 0rdinance tao . 209 0 . S . "An ordinance to amend ordinance No. 198„ Charter 'Ser es, approved January 2o, 1921, entitled "An ordinance enforcing the provisions of Article-Eighteen of the'Constitution of the.. United States prohibiting the sale, storage, service, gift, transportation, importation or ex- porta.tion of intoxicating liquors fur beverage purposes; regulating H 1 all other traffic in such liquors; and providing penalties for viola- tion hereof ", by amending section eight thereof pertaining to the ren- alty for the violation of the said ordinance.."
