Regular Meeting g of the Counci of the City of Petaluma, called to order by

Absent Councilman Batchelor.
RNAD`ING OF -THEE JOURNAL:
The minutes of tine last Regular Mleeting held on yhe .16th day of October, 1922
were read and approved as7reoorded.
REPORTS OF CITY OFFICERS -:
The monthly report of the :Supt of Street's,•Mi'harfixg and Financial report of

the Auditor were read and filed. The City Clerk reported that had published notice
to bidders: for painting YJashim_gton St Bridge, bids to be opened on Nov. 6th, 1922.
and that no bids had been received.

The Finance Committee rendered: its report allowing various claims against the City
and Chairman M Cargar thereof introduced and Councilman Vv'hite seconded

On motion regularly made and carried the complaint against Matoza to cancel soft drink.

Its moved and carried, that e committee of three be appointed to confer with the
Public Utiiities in reference to their painting the various poles on the streets.
The Mayor appointed on the committee, Councilmen L?cCargar, Farrell and Allen.
The matter of lease of N. V 1. P. $ Co to City of fire house lot on E. Washington st.
was referred to the Cit.i Attorneys

The L?avor stated that he had received a letter and new bond in reference to the Axtka
Arthur Claim from Attornev Barrett. No action taken.
