ROLL CALL: Councilmen Present, Allen.,, Farrell, Sales, White and. Mayor Young;, Absent Councilmen Batchelor and McCargar. READING OF TRE JOURNAL: The mixiutes of the last Regular Meeting held on the 15th dag of January, 19 mnm r were read. and, approved as recorded. REPORTS OF CITY OFFICE1 The monthly reports of the Police. Judge, Wharfinger, City Engineer; and Financi$l reports of the Aud.i:tor were read and filed. REPORTS OF STANDING CQMKIITTEES: The Finance Committee rendered its report allowing claims against: the City and Councilman Allen thereof introduced and Councilman Farrell seconded Resolution No. 2675.C. S. "BE IT- RESOVED TiiAT the Auditor be ,and he is hereby directed to dray: arrexxts. ,against the various funds in the City Treasury in payment of the dlaims this day aii allowed and approved by the Finance Committee." Refered to the CtyE rgineer and Street. Committee. NTT BUSINESS. it was moved and carried that the Street ComMittees report onside walks be ac- cepted. It was also moved and carried that the report of z2 Street Committee on kR3dbdj sea gall. be adopted and the Street Committee be authorized to take the matter up with the U.S.Gov. "Engineers in regard to survey, costs plans and specifications etc. it was moved -and carried that the invitation of, committee on swim-Ang swim-An tank be ac- 1 1 cepted.
