The officers were directed to enforce the ordinance relative to such matters. Prof James Kenney addressed the Council inviting the Ivla.yor and members to witness a demonstration of the fire -plant of t he, Associated Oil Company's Warehouse in 'this city. He also spioke in favor of the installation of a high pressure purnping plant for fire. protection and adversely to the proposed plan to purchase i;iore motor fire apparatus :,.nd to exect a fire station, giving his reasons tn.ereror. The entire matter was laid over until tfie full council could he present.
