Adjourned meeting of the Council of the City of Petaluma, called to
order by Mayor Sales.
ROLL ,CALL:
Councilmen present; Allen, Batchelor., Riewerts, Farrell, Van
Bobber and Mayor-Sales.
Councilmen absent; McCargar. .
PETITIONS, AND, C.OMWNSCAT;IONS : -
Communication from Goo. W Gow, asking for 018.00 for injuries
received when he stepped through the open trap door of the Washington
Street Bridge. Filed.
INTRODUC`T'ION OF ORDINANCES:
Ordinance introduced by Councilman Allen, seconded by Councilman
Piewerts, fixing the fees of the City Engineer of the City-of Petaluma
for services in the matter of establishing grades and lines for sidewalk
improvements, and directing that, said fees be paid to the City Engineer
who shall deposit the same with the City Treasurer, - approved by the
City Attorney and ordered posted.

Ordinance introduced by Counci.lnan Batchelor, seconded by Council-
man Farrell, ordering the opening and widening of "G Street and the
appointing of three commissioners to assess benefits and damages, and to
have general supervision of the proposed work, approved by the City
Attorney and ordered posted.

directing the Auditor to draw proper warrant in the sum of $18.00 in
favor of A. TN. Gow, for payment of his claim, adopted by 6 affirmative
votes, 1 absentee.
City Engineer Grove announced that a government permit had been
received for the erection of the new wharf by Hunt &-Behrens.
The ;natter of securing a pumper for the fire department 1,was brought
up and d °iscussed at length .and.the following resolution was adopted by rrA�
