Regular meeting of tide Council of the City of Petaluma called to
order by Mayor - Sales.

and approved as recorded -.
EPORTS OF- CITY OFrICERS:
The .,City Engineer certified that J, -B. Silva had completed the layiing
of a sewe "r on Broadway Street from English to Dana.
REPORTS, OF- S'TANDUG COI dITTEES:
The Finance'Cbmmittee• rendered its report of numerous claims against
the City and Councilman McCargar introduced and Councilman Van Bebber
seconded the following resolution, to wit:

warrants against the City.Funds in payment of claims allowed and approved.
by the Finance Committee, adopted by 5 affirmative votes, 2 absentees.
Councilman Farrell entered the meeting at this point.
PETITIONS AND COWIUN ICATIONS :
Letter from 6+1, T. Spridgen, secretary of ltlasonic Hall Association
in regard to a leak around the town clock= read and filed. Later brou,ht
sin under new business and referred to the Buildings and Grounds Committee
with power to.act.
Petition from residents on Dana and Sheldon Streets, requesting a -
light on streets. referred to the Street Commmittee with potirer to act.

introduced by Councilman Allen, seconded by' Councilman I ' JcCargar, transferr-
ing the 'sum. of 02945.82 from the East "D" Street Improvement Fund to the
Street Fund, adopted by 6 affirmative votes, 1 absentee.

discussed and referred to the Buildings and Grounds Committee with power to
act.
