INTROW0,•1,0 OF ,ORDINANCES Introduced by Councilman Van.,Bebber, seconded by Councilman Farrell, -Prohibiting the oper6tion,,,maintenance or use of blot machines, approved by the City Attorney and ordered posted., IM BUSINESS :r .;On motion by Councilman Farrell the council ratified the action of the 'Building and Grounds Committee in alloting to the public scavenger firm a portion of tlhe -sewerIarm on which to deposit garbage.. 'I'he.matter of a leaking water pipe on Post Street was discussed and referred to the Street Committee for investigation. � The improvement of Howard Stre,etwas brought up and discussed and re to the S'tre:e Committee for investigation. J. C. Smith addressed the council and asked that it lease a.city lot at the foot of G Strett to,b.e used for a reduction works to convert manure into fertilizer. Referred-to the building and grounds committee to investigate and report back. The City Engineer was directed to interview the engineers,of N.W.P.
