Introduced by Councilman Van.,Bebber, seconded by Councilman Farrell,
-Prohibiting the oper6tion,,,maintenance or use of blot machines, approved
by the City Attorney and ordered posted.,

.;On motion by Councilman Farrell the council ratified the action of
the 'Building and Grounds Committee in alloting to the public scavenger
firm a portion of tlhe -sewerIarm on which to deposit garbage..
'I'he.matter of a leaking water pipe on Post Street was discussed and
referred to the Street Committee for investigation.
� The improvement of Howard Stre,etwas brought up and discussed and
re to the S'tre:e Committee for investigation.
J. C. Smith addressed the council and asked that it lease a.city lot
at the foot of G Strett to,b.e used for a reduction works to convert
manure into fertilizer. Referred-to the building and grounds committee
to investigate and report back.
The City Engineer was directed to interview the engineers,of
N.W.P. Railway to see that they complete the wore on the spur track
and other crossings on East a D. Street.
On motion regularly made and carried the .Council.adjourned.
