Ordinance 110,., 247"C.S. came up for adoption and after a general
discussion was laid over uhti•l the next regular meeting.
Ordinance No. 2 0,.,S.-introduced by Gouncilman'Farrell, seconded.,
by Councilman Van Bebber came, up regularly for adoption and was adopted
by the following votes; Ayp,8 Allen, Farrell, McCargar,,Riewerts, Van

NEW, JBVSINESZ:_
Councilman McCargar brought up the subject of finding suit_6b_ie
place for the housing of the new fire engine and same was referred to
the buildings and grounds committee. A. new fire traffic ordinance
was ordered drawn and Councilman McCargar-�-Councilman Farrell and
Police Chief Flohr were appointed a committee of three to draft said
ordinance. .:

increasing the salary of the City Engineer from 0125., to Q'150 per month,
to take effect from and after May lst, 1924,adopted by 6. affirmative
votes, 1 absentee.

approving the surety bonds 'of ' M. H. :Fredericks, I.. B. Raymond and A.
V. Baker as commissioners duly appointed to assess benefits an - d damages

placed the different bridges according to law.

Mr. IAllen,Chairman of the 'Knights of Pythias Exposition addressed
the.Counc -il asking for a page of advertising for their catalogue.
After being advised'tha.t the City had no money to spend for that
purposelhe donated the 'space and Councilman Farrell agreed to- furnish
him the!, necessary copy.
Counc=ilman Farre II sbrought up the matt,er.of. the improvement. of
33w and St. and 'the Council decided to abandon. said improvement for
the present

The Street Committee were' instructed' to view the corner of Baker
and Stanley Streets with the object of placing signs there for the
safety'of pedestrians.
