declaring the result of said Election, which•Resalution was adopted by

Ordinance No. 253 C.S.
' ordinance of the City of Petaluma, providing for the issuance
and redemption of bonds of the City of Petaluma, County of Sonoma, State
of California, to the amount of w25,500. for the acquisition and purchase
of one pumping fire engine, hydrants,' one auxillis_ry hose wagon, fire hose,
one chassis and rack for.hook and ladder truck, one hose- drying rack, and
for the remodeling, alteration and reconstruction of the loner floor of
the City. Nall for the housing .of the fire „apparatus, in accordance �:ith
and as autiTOrized at Special Election held in said City-of Petaluma on the

expre..ssing the gr-atitute of the City 'of Petaluma to the voters, organ-
izations and newspapers of the.City of Petaluma for their support and
y. co- operation during the recent Special Election and also its appreciation
and thanks to Chief Pliurphy of the S. F., Fire Department for his assistance
in-loaning apparatus and hose for the*te -st of the new fire engine, and
the 'City Clerk Was directed to so inform Chief Murphy, adopted by 4
affirmative votes, 3 absentees.

introduced by Councilman Ivlc'Cargar, seconded -by Councilman Van Bebber•,
directing the City Clerk to publish notice o.f filing of unpaid assess-
ment list in re street improvement bonds for 5th st, adopted by 4
affirmative' votes, 3 absentees.
The Clerk reported the filing of affidavits of publication of
ordinances Nos. 246,247 ",248,249,250.
The Buildings and Grounds Committee made, a report on the condition
of the roof, o.f the shoe factory building but were given further - time
for investigation.
