Regular meeting of' the Council of the City of Petaluma called to
order by Mayor Sale's.

Th Minutes` Of 47 last regular meeting -of March -16th and the
Special Meetings of March 27th and 30th were read and approved as re-
corded. S

Judge were read and filed. . .
The Clerk reported the filing of Affidavits of Posting of Ordinances
No 266, 269, 271, 272, 273., 2 and 275. Also the -filing of Affidavit
of.Publicaton of Ordinance iuo. 270 C.S. and Affidavit of Publication
of Notice to Bidd - er's re 5th Street Bridge.
The "C ity Engineer filed :estimates for t improvement of "G" Str eet,
Irwin Street and Central Avenue.
The Clerk reported two .policies of-insurance covering the Rock
Crusher will expire May lst, 192.5.
The City Attorney reported in re the status of alleys. `Filed:

Electric Signs
The matter of regulating the wiring•of electric signs was brought
up and the Ma y or. appointed a committee composed of Councilmen tan
Bebber and B e
utt °on to investigate and report back.
The matter of repainting the fire'station was discussed and left
to the Buildings and grounds Committee with power to act.
M . Korbel asked that a warehouse district 'be established in order
that platforms maybe legally erected; taken under advisement until,
the City Planning Commission has establi,6hed the proper zones.
Councilman Allen brought :up the sub j,act of sidewalk cleaning,
suggestin 'that the. ordinance -be, revised, whereupon a aommittee
consisting of Councilmen Allen and Button and the City Attorney were
appointed to bring in a - report' for the re vision of the ordinance . -
The Buildings and Grounds Committee was directed to have the grass
in the roadway leading to the sever farm pastured down.
Attorney Hunter of the T. & D. Theatre, Inc. and Toby Walker
addressed the Council regarding the license fees for tent shows, Mr.
Hunter asking that it be raised. Takenuder advisement.
