Finance omm ee rendered its report of numerous claims against' `"the City, whe:- reup.on Resolution #3162 C.S._ antro ing introduced by Councilman Allen, seconded by Councilman Van Bebber, direct- ,duc Auditor to draw warrants against the various City 'Funds in pay - ment of claims allowed, and approved by the Finance Committee, ado by 5 "affirmative "vote °s, 2 absentees. - the matter o:f'liability and property damage insurance on the Ford cars belonging to the, City was reported on by Councilman Allen and referred to the City attorney. PETITIONS' AND .COMKUNICATIONS: Reque from the Eastern Orthodox Church Society of San'Francisco for' the old Russian bell, now in posse,selon of the City of Petaluma, read, filed and the Clerk was directed to reply t.o .aid request stating that the City of Petaluma :has decided to keep this bell for a future museum. Resolution #3164 C ;; S. introduced by Councilman Farre,ll,.seconded by Councilman Van Bebber, increasing the salary of the Chief of Polic to the sum of §200'.00, adopt- ed by 5 affirmative votes, 2 absentees. Resolution #3165 C.S. introduced by Councilman Farrell,, aeconded by Councilman Van Bebber, increasing the salary, of the Police Judge to the sum of 090.00, adopted by 5' affirmative , vot.e -, 2 absentees.
