Be it.resolved that the report of the Finance Committee' be and the same is hereby adopted and -the City Clerk and Auditor is hereby directed to dtaw'his warrants in payment of said claims; under the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said Citv. Woes: None Absent, None Communication was read from the - restaurant keepers and Petaluma Lodge No. 19 Knights of the Royal Arch asking Council to pass an ordinance.deblaring it unlawful for any firm or corporation engaged in the shlobn or liquor business to keep or give away a free lunch to their patrons .same 'as . laid on the table. NEW BUSINESS Sup6rintendent of St'reet's cal -led the Council attention to the necessity of replanking Washington Street Bridge same :as referred t:o the Street committeeto act. The Bond of H. A. Hubbard as City Engineer the sum of $'2000.00 same having, een a g pproved by the Attorney on motion same was accepted b" the board.
