Minutes of the special meeting of the City Council
of the City of Pet�Llurr,a, called to order by Mayor Zartman.
ROLL CALL.
The Clerk called the roll and the following member-
,answered to their names: Cauncil.men; Walsh, Fredericks-,
"Iercheval, Stradling, Healey and Mayor. Zartman.
Councilman Gossage waz present before th,= meeting adjourned..

,of the hours for selling liquor in saloons, hotals and restaur-
ants during the creek of the convention.
RESOLUTION NO.143 C.S.
Introduced by Councilman. 14. Walsh at a special meet-
ing of the City Council of the City of Petaluma, on the 7th
day of Oct. 1911. .
Be it resolved that all saloons holding a retail
liquor - licence be and are hereby granted permission -to keep
their -place of business open during the U.P.E.C, celebration
all night commencing Monday Aug.9th until Saturday Oct. 14th

Inclusive, under the power- and authority conferred upon this
Council by the Charter of said City.

Be. it resolved that permission be granted the U.P.F.C.
celebration committee to erect a temporary wood structure for
a band. stand on lo same to be taken down immediately
.ait.er the convention Oct 14th, under the pourer and authority
conferred upon. ":this' Council by the Charter of said City.

7th day of Oct. 193_1.

-Be it resolved that Otto Rudolph be and he is
hereby appointed as a regular policeman to serve during the
Pleasure Of the Council, at a salary, of Twenty Five: Dollars
per month, he to serve as a Regular- Policeman and receive asp
additional salary whatever he may collect as Karehant Patrol,
under the power and authority conferred upon; this "Council by
the .Charter of said City. •�

meeting of the City Council of the City of Petaluma on the

Be it resolved that Mayor W.H. Zartman be and ip hereby
permitted to withdraw his resignation as Mayor of the City
of.Peta.luma; under the power and authority conferred upon this
Council by the Charter of said City.
