Be it resolved -that H. McNulty be and he is
hereby granted perm itsion to open . "H" S treet near
Second arid'Webstex St reet, near Bassett Sts., for
the purp of putting in sewer work to be done under
the s apervisiot of the Street Superintendent., under
the power and authority conferred upon this Council
by the Charter of said City.

In,regard t.o the condition of Petaluma River
as presented in communication fromCaptain :Lauritzen.
and 'Fox, it was decided to leave the matter. in the
hands of the Mayor to •appoiht 'a Commi,t'tee to confer
with Congressmen Kent -regarding same.
Mayor 'Zartman stated that it, was reported
to him, that Chetry. Street was in bad ahape and needed
repairs. Street G'ommittee was in6tructed to look
into the matter and .report—,
Fire 'Chief Adams of, the Fire Commission.
and Preside W..J. Hi addressed the Council --
relative to the need of 'a comb,rfation fire and
chemical hose wagon. The suggestion of Councilman
Walsh, Fire Commission and the Council will meet in
private session at a later date to talk over the .
proposition.

Councilman "Gossage stated that Rock' Crusher
'had been closed for the season Councilman ,Stradling
of the street.. Committee stated that he had conferred
with Manager ; of the - Pac'iTic Gas & Electric Co.•,,
relative to they charge of $'50 per month for the motor
Mr:. Stradling stated that if the• City did not use the
motor at any time during the month, the City would not
be required to:� -pay the. same.

'Poultry Association asking for a donation of $200.00

tion for said amount, under :the power and authority con-

Be it resolved that Ordinance No. 42 C.S. be and
the-same .is hereby adopted., being ' "An Ordinance
regulating moving piaturee exhibitions and entertainments
at which moving .pictures are exhibited, and regulating
the construction, erection, alte r ation, maintenance, and
use of places of amusement wherein moving pictures are
exhibited for public entertainment•, and regulating the
construction, erection, alteration, and maintenace of
the` equipments therein ", under the.power,,and authority
conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.
