A petition was received from , Ochhsner and Sutter. also a petition from ,property owners within the vicinity of Western Ave. and Fair street,'rec.omending that. the CGouncil g -rant said petition for the purpose of conducting a bottling works at the cornor of Western Ave. and Fa -_r, street. The local fire and insurancbe*agents filed a petition aski.ng the Council t.o re;pal sec. 56 of ordin. No 4 of the general tax law. The Council went into caucdes and after the Council reconvened. the Mayor stated that tlia Co_i not 1 had.discided that the ordinance would be rec:inded wt a later date =_ Secty. Duval the Council guaranteeing that the rates of insurance would go back to the old figures. Mr. H. Weber.. manager of thei Pac. Gas`. and E1. Co. filed a communication agreeing to credit the City with a sum of $ 314. 40 =, each and eve m onth of the said sum to-the unpaid account of 1910 agreeing to waive all :rights and claim in law and equity to that portion of the unpaid of 1910. Be it resolved that Edith Street from the northwesterly line of Washington street having been approved and accept.ed the Supt of Streets, be :and the-same is hereby accepted by the City of Petaluma.
