A petition was received from , Ochhsner and Sutter. also a petition from ,property owners within the vicinity of Western Ave. and Fair street,'rec.omending that. the CGouncil g -rant said petition for the purpose of conducting a bottling works at the cornor of Western Ave. and Fa -_r, street. The local fire and insurancbe*agents filed a petition aski.ng the Council t.o re;pal sec. 56 of ordin. No 4 of the general tax law. The Council went into caucdes and after the Council reconvened. the Mayor stated that tlia Co_i not 1 had.discided that the ordinance would be rec:inded wt a later date =_ Secty. Duval the Council guaranteeing that the rates of insurance would go back to the old figures. Mr. H. Weber.. manager of thei Pac. Gas`. and E1. Co. filed a communication agreeing to credit the City with a sum of $ 314. 40 =, each and eve m onth of the said sum to-the unpaid account of 1910 agreeing to waive all :rights and claim in law and equity to that portion of the unpaid of 1910.
