The Clerk called th,e Roll and - the following members answered
to their nanes Councilman C7ossage Fredericks Kercheval Stradling
Healey and Mayor Zartman.
Reading of the .Journal.
The minutes of the regulr meeting of Feb the 5th 1912,.
were read. -and approvkd as recorded.
COMMUNIC AT IONS.
Reports were presented by the Petaluma -Rower & Co.
Pao. Gas. & EL.Co. and a partial report from the Pac. T.�l. & Tel.
Co. for the fiscal. year 19.11. they lxe`re refe-rred to the finance
committee for investigation.
NETN BUSINESS.
RESOLUTION 235.
Introducted by Councilman D.J.Heale,y at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City o f Petaluma on the 1'3hh day of 1912.
BE I'T RESOLVED THAT the Clerk of the Ci't'y of Petaluma :.be and
he is hereby directed to advertise for bids for the lighting of
Streets, alleys, and municipal buildings of the Gity`b.f Petaluma
for the fiscal year begonning July thb 1918 according to the
following schedule, to wit:
. Fox .50( Inca.nd.escent '3'2 candle power lights all night service
rete per 'rnonth for each light.
For each incandescent 32 candle power light in exges's of
50, aal night service, rate per month f - or each light.
For Fifty 60 watt tunsten lights permonth, all night service
rate.per month for each light.
For 50 arc lights of 2000 candle power each

all night service, rate per month for each light.
For each arc light in excess of 50, 200 candle power, all
night, - service, rate per month for each l ight.
F1. Current per K.V.H. for lighting and power purpose.
Said rejuest for bids to be advertised in the City Official Paper
City of Petaluma by and tgrough its Council reserving the right
to reject any and all bids.
Bids to be submitted'at the first meeting in Mar 4th under
the power and authority conferred upon this Council by the Chatter
of said City..

Absent: Councilman Walsh.
City Attorney Hall.. addressed the Council in regards to the
new public utilitie law.
N S.Frost protested to, the Council against the 'Water Co.
charging a minimum rate of .1.50 for metre . He thought the Co.
should only - charge for the amount of water connumed.
ADJOURNKENT.
On motion of Councilman Kexcheval and seconded by Councilman
Healey meeting adjourned until Tuesday Feb lgth 1912.
