Petaluma, Mayor Zartman. presiding.
ROLL CALL. '
The Clerk called the Roll and.the following members answered
to their names Councilman Ovedericks, Stradling, Healey and Mayor
Zartman. ,
Before the meeting adjourned Cou0i.lman Gossage and Kercheval
were present.

REPORT OF OFFICERS.
The City Attorney was given further time in the matter of repor-
ting on the Meyer resolution for the deeding of several ten foot striper-
of, .land on Walnut St.
The 19ity Attorney Filed two Reports One in r.e-gards to the duty of
the Council to fix annuaIJy the rates to be collected by Corporation
for the use of Wat r supplie& -to the City or it inhabitants,,and ah"Other
report cal - lin,g attention to public service Corporations occulp7ing the
streets after the 10th day of Oct. 1911 With out first procuring a

Your Finance Committee having examined the follow - ing demands
against the City, find the same proper charges, and rec.orrimend that the

same be allowed and paid, and that the City Clerk be directed to draw
warrants in favor of'the several claiments, in accordance, therewith .

meeting of the City Council of the City of Petaluma. on the 19th day
of Feb 1912.
BE IT RESOLVED that the report of the Finance Committee
be and the same :is hereby adopted and the City Clerk and Auditor is
hereby directed to draw his 'w rrant:s in. payment of said claims.

PETIT'ION:S AND COMMUNTOATIONS.
Communication was read from Clark & Henery Const. Co.announcing
th °t'they will complete the work of reparing the defects.in the asphalt
pavement in a shott time when they send a. crew of men to Ukiah to do some
Work.
J,C.Mc Laughlin requested a transfer' of his license from 163 Main
to 1.57 Main. Granted per foflo.wng resolution.
RESOLUTION 237.
IntrocG`ucted by Councilman D.J.Healey at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Petaluma on the 19th day of Feb 1912.
B'e IT RESOLVE -D that J. C, -Ilc Laughlin be and he is hereby
granted permission to transfer his liquor license from 163 Main St to
157 Main ST. in the Doyle and the Auditor is hereby instructed
to note such change in the license book. Under the power and authority
conferred upon this Council by the Chart >er of said City.

City Council of the City 66 Petaluma on the 19th day of Feb 19,12.
Be it Resolved-that the City Engi,necr `be and he is hereby
directed to prepare estimates for the grading,- macadamizing , and
guttering,t -he roadway of Stanley St from the East line. of the
intersection of Post and Stanley St. and Howard,St. Under the power t
and authority conferred upon this Council by the Charte -r of'said .City.

Be it Resolved that the City Clerk• he and he is directed to
notify the Public Service Corporations no located and doing
business in the City of Petaluma that it is necessary to p•rocue,e a
franchise for the further use of the St. of said. City other t°lam
so much thereof as PJas used and occupied by said Public Service C-
Corporations on Oc1.10th .1911. Under the power and authority
conferred upon this Council by the Charter of said City.

Ayes: Councilman. Fredericks, Stradling, Healey and Ya.yor Zartinan.
Noes: None

Mr. W. S. Preshaw appeared and made a request for sewer on - Spring
St. The Mayor as soon as the Publib service rate
.iork`'is over the problem will be t.aken'up by the Council and solved.
The Mayor requested the City Engineer to bring the City Block
book down to date .
The Report of the Pet Power&& Water Co was taken_ up and discussed
by the Finance Corrrr.itt.ee also by Mr. Boyd. It was decided to take the
matter .up again at next meeting ashen the Water Co can have its
repres °entat: ,ve present.

of the City of Petaluma., Mayor Z'artman presiding.
The Clerk called the roll and the,followirg
Councilmen answered to their names: Gossage, Fredericks, .
Kercheval, Stradl.ing, Healey, and MIayor Zartman Absent,
Councilman Walsh.
Thos. J..Geary,'Attorney for the Petaluma Power
Mater Company addressed the Council, relative to the report
rendered by this Company and also the report filed by the
consulting engineers. Council then discussed the proposition
but no action was taken as to establishing the rates, which
was postponed for further consideration.

On motion of Councilman Kercheval, seconded by
Councilman Stradling the meeting adjourned til-1 Thursday
evening February 29th, 1912, at the usual hour. So
ordered.
