ROLL CALL.
The Clerk called the roll and the following members4
answered to their names: Councilman Walsh, Frei eriak's, Kerchet-al,
Strad—ling, and Mayor Zartman. Absent Councilman Gossage, Healey.
Councilman Goszage, came in later and was excused-: before the r�ieetirg

ipalit,ies in Berkeley.
Property owners. on 'Sixt'h Street between "I" Street
and the southerly terminal of said Sixth-Street, petitioned the
Douno 1. to order t °he Engineer t prepare plans and specifications
for, `a sever along said portion of said. Street. .Referred to the
Street Committee.
The A- nnual Fina naial Report of tYie Library Trustees
for the Year ending June "Oth' 19 °12 was received. and same was filed.
The Engineer presented plans for a new bridge accross
Thompson creek at Sixth Street but :a the Street Committee had already
commenced repaving the old brid=ge The plane were filed.
The Expert's report was referred to the Finance.
Committee to aseertain, the cost for publishing and report to the
Council,

Councilman Kercheva.1 - reported the Rock crusher bunkers full of
Ltv
coarse rock and fine screensf'on hand and that the fine rock is
badly needed. He recomended tyre purchase of a shall crusher,.
Fire Chf. Adams who attenteddthe convention of the Fire
Chf' s Convention in Los Angeles made a verb a.1 report. of the
improtant matters: discussed and. also described the new Auto Fire
Engine recently. purchased by this City.
Mr. Walsh on - behalf of J. Lepori asked for specifications
for a new sewer on Kentucky Street south of I Western Ave.
After discussion the matter was referred, to the Street Cornm ttee and
the City Engineer., fo _investigation.
Fire Chf. Adams appeared and urged the Council.-to

The matter of the Silk: Liill connect iris, with the,

The I,11ayor read a list of invention receiced from

of other nature.
