Olmst ed Se %et ary of the Citizens Committee on Water Corks asked that the City Engineer be directed to measure the amount of water flowing into the supply mains of the water Co. The matter was discussed a!nd the Council deemed it unneces.sary,ow.ing to the— ch -e in climatic conditions and increes of water since the Com munication , written. A protest was received from several property owners. against the reopening of the, Foundry on Forth Street adjoining the Unique B1 zg. City Atty: Halls atated that there is no Ordinance relat to the .matter and no permission i.s required for ,opening same. Prof. Denney urged the Council. to - take some action in the matter. The matter was discussed at lenght by the Council, but no action taken.
