A special Cbrnmitt.ee, Councilman Fredericks, and Strad'liiZ
submitted a report and reoomrdended that the Council.pay the
bills for drugs supplies and services incurred on Dot 20th 1912
to the General Hospital and others. Filed.

Communicat i,on from J. E. Olmst ed Se %et ary of the
Citizens Committee on Water Corks asked that the City Engineer
be directed to measure the amount of water flowing into the
supply mains of the water Co. The matter was discussed a!nd
the Council deemed it unneces.sary,ow.ing to the— ch -e in
climatic conditions and increes of water since the Com munication
, written. No action was `taken °aad on mot the matter was
laid on the table.
A protest was received from several property owners. against
the reopening of the, Foundry on Forth Street adjoining the
Unique B1 zg. City Atty: Halls atated that there is no Ordinance
relat to the .matter and no permission i.s required for ,opening
same. Prof. Denney urged the Council. to - take some action
in the matter. The matter was discussed at lenght by the
Council, but no action taken.
The Aust °in Western Co.. <of' San Fran( isco. submitted proposals
to furnish the City with a No. 2 Austin Crusher. for the
sum of $ 750iOO h•gy furthered ag -reed that upon the erection
of the Crusher they 1ai1.1 rent it to the City for -the sure of
175.,.,00 per mont "h until they have received $ 750.00 when
they wi1.1 give the C' =ity of Petaluma a —bill— of— sale <. for the
C'rushe'r. they also `agre.ed to furnish with the crusher
foundations plans driving pulley and foundation bolts. No.
action taken' ) and. on motion the matter was laid over until
the next meeting.
