To the Council of the Gity of Petaluma:
Gentlemen:
We the undersigned, duly elected, qualified and
actin,-& officers of the City of Petaluma, County of ;Sonotta, State.
of California, under and by virtue of the COUNTYAN:9 MUNICIPAL
DEPOSIT ACT. Approved March 23rd.. 190`'9, do hereby fix the rate
of interest to b,e paid upon all monies deposited in the several
banks as selected by the City Treasure, by and under the pro'
vision of said act, at u% per annum upon the daily ba -lance de-
pos.'it, and the same shall be the• the uniform ra=te of int 'erect
required frot;i all banks rec =hiving deposits from t•he city for
that year.

and Upham Street as being a dangerous obstructio Refered to
the Street Superintendent.
Health. I .M.Proctor addres ,ts'ed the Council and asked that

from rabies is greater than iwhen t - -he, ordinance was adopted and is
t =raveling all over the coast .
There was a general discussion in reference by the. City
Attorney and others regarding, the non inforcement. of ordinances,
complaint against the Pond Master also against the permitting
certain restaurants t;o sell liguor after midnight.
Offical, representv.es of the City Gas and Electric. Co,
Great Western Power Co and the Pacific Telephone and Telegraph,
-00 -were present with itheir attornyas, t'ak'e up the matter of the
joint use of poles,'. "orde -

of poles _in the city. The matte ;was generally discussed and .
the matter was put over for one month to allow t'he companies to
