Street Committee Report.
Chairman Gossage of the Street Comr reported that
the Committee had visited Galland Street also Park Ave.
in behald of said Committee he recomedded the g 'ranting (?f' the

petition for the ordering the improvements of Galland Street
for.Howard to Walnut. Strebt. In the. matter of Park Awe.
improvement the conimittee recomended that the improvement
b e pro . �poned, as it Street is little travled. . and as the
majority of the Pooperty owners are againts said improvement .

completed the 8 inch ronCstone pipe sewer along and. in stain Street
comyieonc'ing at the .•ma.nhole in the present sewer .now on Oak street
and running along Main Street 275 from the point beginning, to
the satisfaction of the Street Committee and the Supt of Streets
the same be Ind is hereby accepted.

Be it resolved that the City Atty. be and he is hereby
directed to at once commence proceedings for tie condemnation

construction of Douglas Street from Fair Street to Post street.

The matter of reparing washington street bridge was

brought up the Street. Supt. was discussed but without action.
The hlayor called tsie attention of the Council that
certain restura-nts were violation the law by allowing dancing
and also serving li with out meals. no action taken.
At the su'estion * the Mayor the Council will
?'feet in ca.cut next Friday ?Tight for the purpose of discussing
amendments to the present charter if any are - to be made.
