Reading of minutes of a, regular meeting of May 19th and
a regular adjourned meeting of May 29th were read and approved as
recorde,'d.
REPORT'OF OFFICERS
The monthly report of the City Treasurer was read and.filed.
4, Report showed collections for the month $ 627.07. Credit to the
General fund $ 512.07 Personal property taxes collected 115.001,
44 Balance on hand in the several fund as follows:

The Report of the Police , _Judge .'.-for- the month of May was
received and filed. Report showed the collections for fine, etc. for
the month of 45.00
The report of C...D." Carpenter, Pound Master was received
and filed. Report showed dogs, destroyed 31, also total fees collected
for the month 31.00.
The Mayor reported that he had secured the services of
W. C.1,Stone in compiling the river statistics of trade for the past
year in accordance with the request of the war department and the action
was ratified,.

The matter of an additional change in the grade of Galland Street
as asked for by a property owner,•wa!s discussed without action.
- ;The matt of the public utility rates for the coming year
we're 4scussed, as no changes were made in the Ordinances as originally
introduiiced they will be publi-shed if the people do not vote to place
the utlilitdes in the hands of the railway .commissioners.
CThe Council took a recess and went into caucus to discuss the change

Be i t resolved that Ordinan e No 91, C.S. be and the same is
hereby adopted being an ordinance: -,
"
Establishing the Grade Pf Gallabd Street.from the west
line of Kentucky Street to.the East -Line of Howard Street."
The Cle:rk•was directed after the same has been approved by the
Attorney to cause it to`be published in the offic-ial newspaper
according to law.
