Homer W. Wood, proprietor of the Fourier appeared in ex-
planation of the special Progress Edition of the Courier, and
asked that the Council take 1000 copies..

Cite- of Petaluma be and he is hereby directed to prepare and submit
to the Council at the meeting ion the first 11onday of each month
a comr -lete statement of the balances remaining in each fund after
the total expenses and the sums paid oat have been deducted for the
preceding month.

The Council decided to_give up the telephone installed in
the lobby of the*TaTasonic Temple, and the Clerk was directed to order
a tblephone to be installed at .Kenilworth park, where the pound. is
loca,tbd..
L. H. Hall and Will I41cDonald addressed the Council in behalf
o:" the Central Labor Union and Building Trade Council, and asked for
y 300.00 donation for the coming Labor day celebration. Aje matter
was laid over till Thrusday evening.
