The monthly report of the Auditor for the month of August was
read and ordered riled.
The monthly report of the Police Judge for the month of August
was read and ordered filed.
The monthly report of the Poundmaste'r vims. read and ordered
filed. The City Attorney asked further time in reference to t }.ze build -
ing ordinance. Pranted. °
The Itlayor reported having granted Mr. Hopkins a leave, of absence
from the state for 60 days. Mr. Hirui.a Hopkins took oath of office as
Deputy Assessor, Tax and License Collector.
Mr. Hall in 'a communication advised the return of $1.5.00

Be it resolved that Ordinance ado. 104 CoSe Declaring that the public

interest of the City bf Petaluma, and the` inhabitants thereof, demand
that a bridge' be constructed' acros-,,' Petal uma Rives at Nashington Street
and directing that thb City Clerk advertise for bids for the construction
thereof. ,lie and the s6,me .is hereby adopted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that bids for the construction of said
bridge shall be submitted to this Coineil,at its next regular meeting,
to - wit: September, 15th., 1913.
