The Clerk called the roll and the following members answered to their names: - Councilman Gossage, Vestal, IalcCargar, Torr, Stradling, Healey, and Idayor Horwege. RE iDIldG OF d0'U INAL. The minutes of a regular meeting of December 1st, , read and approved as recorded. ]�EPOPT 01' OFFICERS. The Clerk presented the Affidavit of Publication of Ordinance No a establishing the grade of "G" Street, 'by Homer W. Wood, Printer and Publisher of the "Petalu - ma Daily Courier ". FILED. The Clerk reported the agreement between the Electric Light and Telephone Companies relative to the j : o_ nt. use -, .of >_pglas :in the Cit-, on file and duly signed. The City Attorney examined same and it was ordered placed on file. On recommendation of Councilman Gossage the Clerk wens directed to ascertain the names of the three arbitrators in said agreement. The re -;ort of the City Treasurer fo.r y the„mani�h of Yovelber, 1913, was presented and read. Same was placed on file. The report of the Auditor for the month of November, 1913, was presented and read _end placed. on file. REPORT 01' STANDING COI4MITTEE. 01-T F`I I:4,AYGE : The report of the Finance Committee signed by H. S. -Mc ;Cargar, Chairman, W.C. Stra.dling, �u� ma y, -and H.S. Gossage, was received and read and ordered filed. Report shows the amount of $1116.29 approved for payment out of the General Fund. Same was adopted by the following,resolution;- RESOLUTIO.[ NO. 6566 - y— Approving the Finance Report. Adopted by seven affirmative votes. STREBT GOIM TT E : The Street Committee, per D.J. Healey, T.C. Vestal, and H.O. Torr, presented -a report recommending the improvement of several streets. `r Also temporary improvement of Washington Street and several .minor improvements. FILED. Commonwealth Club of Calif arnia,asking the TUTfayor and Council to send representatives to the - "Int,ernal Waterways Congress to be held in San Francisco, January 15 to 17th, inclusive. On motion da-ly made and seconded, .the following xi €med gentlemen were asked to participate as delegates to the above Convention : - Mayor Horvuege, Dr. H.S. Gossage, G.P. McNear, and E..E. Drees. ADOPTION OF ORDIIJAECES. Ordinance No. 113 establishing the - grade of "G" Street was taken up for final passage and adopted by the following resolution:- HESOL i1TION NO. 657, Adopting the above ordinance by seven affirmative votes.
