A meeting of the City Coune was held this 24th day of August
1914, Mayor Horwege in the Chair.
PRESENT': Gossage,, Walsh, McCargar, Torr, Stradling Healey and
'Mayor Horwege.
PETITION AND COMMUNICATIONS
Objections to the report of the Gommi;ssioners n the matter
of Douglas Stre.et, opening,, widening and extending of same from
M. J., M.E. J. E., and E,.G. Cavanagh, and lso Chas. Lynch
were presented and read.. The objectors were represented -by Attorney
Mooney and Attorney Lynch. The matter was discussed by their
respective,Attorney''s

Introduced by Councilman Healey, seconded by Stradling,
Be,it reaolved'that the report of the Commissioners in the matter
of the opening, extending, and widening of Douglas St. from the north-
erly line of Fair St. to the southerly line of Post St. filed in the
office of the Clerk of the Council of said City, on July 6th,1914,
together with the plat accompanying said report, be and they are
hereby confirmed, approved and adopted.; andbe it further
Resolved, that the Clerk of this Council be, and he is
hereby directed to file in the office of the County Recorder of
Sonoma Count -r, California, a -copy of said pla t appropriately
designated, and said Clerk Is heteby&, _ ,forward to the
Superintendent of Streets of said City of Petaluma, a certified
copy of the report, assessment and plat of said Commis= inners, as
hereby finally confirmed, approved and adopted_;�y this Council..
